Tips for Achieving the Best Grooming Results:
Step 1: Remove mats and tangles with 9 teeth side(Dematting Side)
Start with the side with the fewer teeth and find the most stubborn mats & tangles to break them apart one by one. Brush the area with light and short strokes. Move the brush smoothly and gently when cutting the mats and tangles.
Step 2: Dashed and get rid of loose hair with 17 teeth side(Deshedding Side)
Then you can switch sides of 17 teeth to use the tool’s deshedding function. Depilates the entire body to remove excess loose hair on the undercoat.
Step 3: Clean the brush and enjoy the impressive results

I was a little worried about this brush pulling my cat’s fur, but as long as you are slow and start with the larger teeth, it seems capable of gently removing the fur.
It's important to note that this comb didn't work as well on my medium-haired cat, but for long-haired cat owners, I highly recommend giving it a try.
This tool is easy to use. It doesn’t take much to comb our dog and she seems very comfortable when we do.
It effectively removes quite a bit of hair in a single pass. Easy to clean.
I couldn’t quite understand why her coat always looked like she needed a ‘cut’ and after using the brush her coat after looks amazing - like she looks like she lost 10 pounds! She looks beautiful! And, she loved every second of it - She actually came back for more brushing! I’m extremely satisfied! I tried it on my black lab and it worked great, too.
Backstory; we adopted an older Persian Cat from a shelter who had really bad matting everywhere!! My first thought is “we’re just going to have to get him completely shaved”. I ordered this just to try before his appointment and when I tell you it took out almost all of his Matt’s before he decided he didn’t want to be brushed anymore!
The two sides make it easy to use. I use the 9 tooth blade to start chopping up the Matt’s at first, then the 17 tooth blade to really get the rest and pull the old hair out. It doesn’t hurt the animals, unless you keep pulling on the knotted hair. If you just keep brushing instead of pulling it’ll eventually start to break apart.
The picture showing the pile of hair is only the last pile. We swept the floor 3 times before this.
Go slow and be careful not to hook any skin and comb with the hair not against nor sideways. In just a few groomings, your dog's coat will improve. Happy dog,
24 hr Update: this is how slow I am, don't forget that this can also be used in reverse in certain areas where more combing is needed than undercoat removal. This technique might be best realized on a Poodle. And it is also a great way to get your dog used to what it is and can do. It feels nice in reverse too.

In fact I bought two of them and am going to get one more to leave in my car to groom my pup at the park. He loves it and sits calmly in front of me as I brush him. It must feel really good.

I have other brush and it didn't take off all the dead hair. I have 4 cats and I have less hair on the floor or everywhere.
